If you need general assistance or you need to contact us while you are traveling.
The itinerary sent to you prior to your departure will include directions for contacting Westerly while you are in travel. We ask you to add WhatsApp to your mobile device prior to your departure and we will start a chat so that you can quickly contact us while you are the move. Please open WhatsApp and send a chat if you need to reach us quickly. Additionally, the information section of your travel itinerary will include your travel insurance policy and U.S. Consulate and Embassy locations for your destination.
If you need help with a flight.
Your first contact for a flight issue should be the airline you are flying with. Contacting the airline directly or speaking to a gate agent at the airport will almost always be the most efficient route to changing or booking new flights.
Make sure you let us know via WhatsApp that you are having a problem with your flights so that we can step in if possible or necessary.
If your airfare was purchased as part of a bundled tour or package trip, you will have a customer service number listed in your itinerary – if the airline will not work with you Westerly or your tour/package company will be the next step. See the instructions above for contacting Westerly while you are traveling.
If your driver did not meet you at the airport or your hotel.
Unfortunately, missed pick ups are one of the more common problems we run into when our travelers are on the move.
First, don’t panic.
Your itinerary should include a direct phone number to contact the driver and/or company that is providing your transfer. It is often more efficient, especially when you are in a time crunch, to try contacting the driver first.
Loop us in to any problems using WhatsApp and we will work on an alternative pick up for you on our end as well. If you can’t reach the driver or the transfer company, let us know on WhatsApp so that we can make immediate arrangements for you.
If you are ill / injured / there is unrest or a natural disaster where you are.
If you are injured or fall seriously ill while traveling, or something unsafe is happening in the area you are visiting (natural disaster, unrest), your first call should go to your travel insurance policy provider. If you purchased your policy through Westerly Travel, the policy was issued by Allianz or Travel Guard.

Your travel insurance documents were sent to you via email prior to your departure and are also included in your Trip Plans itinerary. Your policy number is listed on those documents. Please also loop Westerly in to what is happening as soon as it is safe to do so.
Additionally, the contact information for the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that is closest to your location will be listed in the information section at the beginning of your itinerary.
